Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She is the owner and director of Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss was born in California and grew up as part of a rich family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon and then later owned the Lakers. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 and she started to feel in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. At the age of 19 she started working for the family's business. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice President for the Lakers. Buss inherited the Lakers from her father in 2013. Five siblings of hers were the inheritors through a family trust. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also co-owner in Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based in Los Angeles.
