Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music star Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. At the age of a small girl, Houston started performing professionally in her church's choir. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mother. Then she went on to perform backing vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine and even her mother. Her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material was noticed by big record companies, like Arista and Arista, which she signed in 1982 and was with them for the rest of her life. The album she released as her debut Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album by an artist who was a rookie. The album All My Love was released in 1985, and quickly became a number one hit. In its initial US year, the album was had sold more than 3 million copies. Then it went on to be bought by over millions of people around the world which earned her her first Grammy. Whitney 1987 Whitney 1987 release, which included the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as songs, grew on her success. But the 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers in history. While the film wasn't very well received, nor did her performance, but the music of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the top spot on both the albums and singles charts in the United States for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. In 1993, it was also when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. At this point her use of drugs became well documented and she began using daily by 1996.
Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American journalist and anchorwoman who serves as a political correspondent for CNN. She has created shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Her awards and accolades include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Bash is highly regarded for her incredible skills as an anchor/reporter. Her one child is her greatest joy in life. The couple was divorced twice but is currently dating. Bash loves her supporters with all of her heart.
