Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently serves as its president. Buss was born in California and grew up as part of a wealthy family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was a real estate tycoon, and later the owner of Lakers and other enterprises. When her parents broke up in 1972 she felt that they'd left her. As a 19-year-old, she took over management of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as their General Manager. Later, she established the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. She held the position of President of Great Western Forum prior to becoming the vice-president of Lakers. Buss' father died in 2013 and the Lakers were passed down by her and five of her siblings through the trust. Every sibling was entitled to the same number of votes. she assumed the duties of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which is a pro-wrestling organization.
