Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the US. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, a Californian native was raised with an affluent life. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon and later proprietor of Lakers and other enterprises. When her parents broke up in 1972 she felt that they'd left her. At the age of 19, she took over her role as General Manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as General Manager. Later, she established her own Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers, she served as president of the Great Western Forum. Buss' father died in 2013 as did the Lakers were acquired by Buss and her five siblings by way of a trust. Each of the siblings had the same number of votes.
