Her role in Knives Out as Marta Cabrera the nurse was nominated at the Golden Globe Awards for the Best Actress. In the following years, she played Bond actress Paloma in the James Bond film No Time to Die (2021) and Norma Jean in the biopic Blonde (2022). Blonde was the film which saw de Armas nominated as Best Actress for her first Academy Award.
